Using this tool
List addresses in a range or calculate one covering CIDR.
Actions: Expand to covering CIDR · List addresses
Example
Choose List addresses to include both endpoints; this differs from the default covering-CIDR action.
Example action and settings
Action: List addresses Maximum output addresses: 4096
Input / action
192.0.2.3 - 192.0.2.5
Result / expected behavior
192.0.2.3 192.0.2.4 192.0.2.5
Available options: Maximum output addresses
Scope and limitations
- List limit defaults to 4096 and may be 1–65536; oversized ranges are rejected, not truncated.
- Wildcards must be consecutive trailing octets; covering CIDR requires start and end addresses.
Common mistakes
- Lists include network and broadcast addresses; one covering CIDR can include extra addresses outside the requested range.
